Belle Blossoms

I'm not a big fan of accessorizing. I'm not a big fan of watches or bracelets. I always wear my vintage engagement ring and I wear my diamond cross necklace most of the time. Sometimes I love adorning my hair with beautiful flowers. Before I discovered Belle Blossoms, I used to make flowers for my hair. I only made two and I still wear them. I adore Belle Blossoms because they are beautifully made. They look quite real and they are well constructed. Here are a few I own:

I'm retired. Temporarily.

May 8th was my last shift at work. I am officially retired, as my mom worded it. Haha! I really wish I was, but this is only temporary till we get settled in Portland, OR. Then it's back to work. Hopefully I find one. My coworkers were so sweet to bring sweets to my last shift of work and also for our last "family" dinner. For security reasons, I'm not going to mention where I work.

Cupcakes brought by Vitalia from The Cupcakery

Both of these sheet cakes were Tres Leches cakes. One of my favorite types of cakes.
The pink one is guava flavored.

Work, school, & planning a move = STRESS!

Dear life, When I said "can my day get any worse" it was a rhetorical question, not a challenge.

I'm pointing at one of my pimples.

Moving can be stressful. Moving to a different state is on a whole other level. Golly! I have at least ten pimples on my face due to the stress with work, school, and planning this move to Portland. It has affected my relationship. We did have a talk though after my melt down, and we snapped each other out of our funk. We love each other very much, I know we can get through this, and this will only make us stronger. We just keep getting bad news though. But we'll persevere.

Yesterday I was at it again, searching Craigslist and multiple property management websites. I seriously had little luck getting a hold of people. Gordon Properties is the place that really annoyed me. I called multiple times, left emails, and voice mails and no response at all. School has seriously been placed on the back burner. I don't really know what's going on with my classes. Mike will probably be disappointed in me, but I can't concentrate. I have too much on my platter. Looking for a place is time consuming. I need to be more organized because I'm forgetting which properties I've applied for, contacted, and scratched off the list.

Please pray for us. Please send us some luck. Till next time. Be {sweet like shhgrr} to one another.

p.s.
I do have a few people to thank: Sophia, Jessica, Frankie Tease, and Richard, for all their encouragement and helping me move forward.

It's gonna be May.

So... everyone and their mother has been posting this or a similar photo on different social networking sites.

It took me about ten of these posts to realize why people were posting it. As you can tell, I can be pretty slow. I showed it to my fiance, Mike, and he sang the song for me. I laughed for a good five minutes.

Speaking of May, this is our last month here in Las Vegas. The months flew by really fast since January, when we officially decided to move to Portland. I hope this is a great move for us. I believe it is, because we want to start a family and we both don't want to raise our kids here.

We faxed over an application for a rental home. Hope we get this home, because there's not that many great choices out there. And the ones that are, they get swooped up pretty quickly. I'm very grateful to Mike's sister, Christine, who lives in Portland and is helping us out with our move. She took photos and video footage of our potential new home. She's also taking the time on her day off, this Friday, to view the home with the property management company.
